The Fault In Our Stars

Tenía muchísimas ganas de leer este libro porque leí la cita:

 

"I'm in love with you," he said quietly.

"Augustus," I said.

"I am," he said. He was staring at me, and I could see the corners of his eyes crinkling. "I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. Que mi amiga Lilia publicó en su Tumblr el día 31 de octubre. Me encantó la cita, la verdad me sigue gustando mucho. Siento que está muy bien escrita. Me agrada en especial porque Augustus está siendo totalmente honesto con Hazel. Me gusta porque me agrada que Augustus necesite ser totalmente honesto con Hazel, me siento muy identificado con esa actitud.

Así que fui tan pronto pude a mi Waterstone's más cercano y pregunté si lo tenían. No lo tenían, pero lo ordené y llegó en tres días. Lo leí en dos días. Me decepcionó muchísimo.

Los días que estuve esperando a que llegara el libro, vi varios videos del vlog de John Green y leí muchos comentarios positivos sobre el libro que sólo me llenaban de más anhelo por leerlo.

Creo que el libro está escrito en una prosa muy corriente. Muy diferente a lo bien escrito que está la cita anterior.

Lo único que me agradó del libro es esa cita. Qué lástima.
