The China Study: Revised and Expanded Edition: The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, and Long-Term Health

 An extremely interesting book that is the next best thing to directly reading a scientific article on nutrition, though there are many of those cited in the references should one wish to go to the sources.
  I highly recommend this book to everyone, but especially to those interested in a plant-based diet. Regardless of one's philosophical point of view on life. My diet was already plant-based before I started reading this book, but I am now seriously trying to follow a Whole Foods Plant-Based Diet, though I have not been perfect.
  Every time I start doubting myself, I remind myself of the many undeniable accomplishments I have achieved since changing my diet, and I can now also remind myself of everything that is said in this book.
